United Airlines announces their new Business Class, Polaris Studio: Elevated Standard of Premium, Luxury International Travel

Just about two months ago, United Airlines announced their new United Polaris Studio Suites, and an upgrade to new Boeing 787 aircrafts via the new Elevated interior. These enhancements not only offer a new experience in the United Economy and Premium Plus cabins, but also a new luxury experience in the United Polaris and the new United Polaris Studio cabins.

What is United Polaris Studio?

United Airlines’ new United Polaris Studio suites serve as a new benchmark for luxury in the skies. With 25% more space than standard Polaris seats, each suite offers the privacy of fully enclosed doors, and an extra ottoman for added comfort and additional companions. The Studio suites are also enhanced with unprecedented 27-inch 4K OLED screens, wireless charging, Starlink connectivity, and luxury amenity kits with premium skincare products.

United Airlines is also elevating its in-flight dining experience to a premium culinary experience with caviar and curated wine pairings. The upgraded menu offers three entrée choices, new desserts options, an appetizer course, and regionally inspired tapas. For flexibility and convenience, a grab-and-go snack bar is available throughout the duration of the flight.

What is the Elevated interior?

United Airlines refined luxury air travel with the debut of the Elevated interior, offering an extraordinary blend of privacy, technology, and design. Each Polaris suite now includes sliding privacy doors, breathable wool-blend seat covers, and fully digital seat controls. For a first in U.S. carriers, travelers can select from window-facing seats, center-facing seats, or aisle-facing seats with a full-length divider for companions seeking a seamless connection in the sky.

New technology is included in every suite, featuring a 19-inch 4K OLED touchscreen with Bluetooth capability, and four charging options, including wireless, to ensure your devices are fully charged throughout the flight. United has also reimagined its famous United Polaris sundae cart with a rotation of limited time Tillamook ice cream flavors.

Availability and Booking

United Airlines expects the first United Boeing 787-9 with the Elevated interior to arrive before the end of 2025 with the first international passenger flight planned in 2026, flying from San Francisco to Singapore and San Francisco to London. The first Boeing 787 with the United Polaris Studio suites and Elevated interior is expected to arrive by 2027 with about 30 planes.

United Airlines is redefining the luxury travel experience in North America with the new United Polaris Studio Suites. These sophisticated suites effortlessly combine revolutionary technology, unparalleled comfort, and supreme privacy, offering an elevated level of service.
