Lufthansa Receives First Dreamliner with New Allegris Cabin in Frankfurt

Landing from Seattle, Washington, Lufthansa Airlines has received their new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with an Allegris Cabin – but, only a limited number of business class seats are able to be utilized.

This airline’s new Allegris cabin offers brand new interiors with redesigned seating all throughout the different classes, from economy all the way to first class. The Allegris interior is Lufthansa’s cabin product of redesigned seats, new layouts, modern technology, and upgraded amenities. The new Dreamliners allow Lufthansa travelers to book a trip in their brand new cabin to receive more comfort, privacy, and flexibility, all which provide relaxed and easy travel.

The problem? Due to certification issues, Lufthansa is unable to sell tickets on all seats of their business class cabin. Out of 28 business class seats, only 4 are certified and are able to take on passengers – leaving much of the business class cabin to be roped off once this plane takes flight.

Lufthansa plans for up to nine new Boeing 787-9 fleets to be launched and based in Frankfurt by the end of 2025 and its routes will continue in and out of Frankfurt’s hub and hopefully fly out from Frankfurt (FRA) to Toronto (YYZ) by October 2025.

As their largest hub, this will help improve overall traveler experience with these new and upgraded cabins. An advancement in the Allegris cabins is the inclusion of individual suites in their business class, giving guests a more private experience. The high walls, large storage space, and 27-inch monitors provide flyers with a travel unlike any other. In addition, guests will also receive large wardrobes as well as a personal minibar. The overall goal for Lufthansa is to replace as many of their fleets with this new and upgraded cabin interior.

The new Allegris cabin is unlike any other due to the fact that its upgrades apply to all classes. From Economy to Business Class, the new cabins provide guests with enhanced personal space and privacy on your flight as well as their high definition monitors that include Bluetooth for economy classes. In comparison, the older cabins included smaller spaces as not as advanced entertainment.

Aircraft update: certification delays are currently in progress for the aircraft’s new aircrafts, so many of them remain in storage upon certification by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). As a result of this, the Allegris Business Class will only be available in some aircrafts and at a limited service for booking. However, Lufthansa is hoping to have all of their Allegris cabins open for service by the end of the year. While waiting on those business suites, you can still enjoy your flight on the new Dreamliner planes by booking with Flight King to still experience their brand new luxury interiors.
